should be flooded, but not sure. Ideas?

So I cleaned my car all up yesterday, used that red wax cover up crap and everything. So I thought: "man, it sure looks nice, I think I'll take a couple pics." Well I'm a moron and didn't let the engine warm up, I just started it, drove it 10 feet, shut it off, took some pics, and then put it back. So now it won't start of course, on Christmas. Well, I'm pretty sure it's flooded, except that I can get it to start and idle fine for like 10 seconds once in awhile, but it always dies. And the last time it did it, it's not even close to starting now. No sputtering anymore, just faster spinning. So I took out all the plugs, took out the EGI fuse and cranked it a little. Now I'm going to wait overnight and try tomorrow. I guess the whole point of this story is...could it be anything besides being flooded? I just wonder this because it would run a little bit then die. Any comments would be cool. Thanks.

On a lighter note I guess if it's dead, it just means that I get to start my turbo swap sooner.

its wierd that it would start and then die again. did you check the plugs for wetness? while they're out crank the engine a few times to spew out the excess gas. if all else fails try the atf trick. for your sake i hope its just flooded. otherwise i dont know.

yeah, the plugs keep getting wet. I forgot to ask something...as far as the plugs go, the L plugs go on the bottom, and the T plugs go on the top, correct?

I'll try the ATF tomorrow. Will manual gear lube work? Or does it have to be automatic transmission fluid?

You got it. trailing coil hooks to the plugs on top.

hey nothing wrong with civics, good little cars. but they dont have the smae soul as a 7 and should NEVER be confused for a sports car, as any ricer worth his grain will try to attest. but there is enough honda bashing going around.

id get your injectors looked at it sound like they are leeking and way out of spec since the engine is flooding repeatedly

So if I do the ATF thing, do I HAVE to change the oil immediately? Cause I just changed it a week ago.
