ive been searching the forums and i cant find the wait of a S5 shortblock. i found guess on the S4. does anyone have the exact weight. i cant even find it on yahoo. like i said i tired searching but i have yet to find the answer

 

I can give you an Educated guess..around 230 pounds..I know that "I" being With a Bad Vertebrae,and another Gent,were able to Lift a Short block into the truck of a car.I Didn't want to guess,I was actually Looking fo a thread that I read about three weeks ago..some guy was Raving about the Shipper saying the engine weighed 1050 Pounds!..he got the Department of Agricuture to go Check out their Scales!..(GOOD ONE!..that'll teach them for trying to Rip a guy off!)..I am sure One of teh Gurus answered(Aka Icemark,Hailers..) and gave a Weight of a long block..so I DID try before Posting My guess..I hope "the guess" helps you.Cheers,Dave/STYX.
