Short throw shifter

I was wondering if someone can give me some advice on a short throw shifter. And is there anything truth to other shifters being able to work with the 88 FC? I have looked all over the site and havn't found anything on it but I have never been good looking for things.

The ebay miata one can be made to fit but you should get one designed for the FC instead. Mazdatrix makes one for example. You could also get the mazdaspeed unit but it's pretty expensive.
