short shifter

87 rx7.

I've always wanted a short shifter but could never seem to find one, so I was gonna see, cus I'm prett sure that Miata short shifters fit, but what year is it?

or

if anyone has any links to either of the types of shifter, that would be sweet.

thanks.
Ricky.

Look for the short shifter on Mazdatrix.com. The only issue is that they have a tendency to rattle a bit.

Looks like it's '90-'97. I found that out by going to last page in the miata short shifter thread, posted above, and clicking on the link to ebay the author posted saying "this one looks identical to the one i used:"

You couldn't have read it.
