Short block together

I finally put together the short block today. We took the engine back out of the 7 back in December. After dis-assemble we found that the porting down by the previous owner was really crappy and it was the porting that was keeping the engine from running correctly. The previous owner made the primary intake actually bigger than the secondary intakes and the rear iron was cracked. I picked up rear & mid iron iron from Viperkiller7 and then shipped the two end irons out to Karack and he did a large street port on them.
Now today I finally have the short block together and I did it all by myself. Yea

Nice. Glad to hear things are coming together... You dealt with a lot of BS to get to this point.

Any set date on when you'll be dropping it in? You should post a video when you finally get it running. It's been a long battle. Heh'

I don't have lots of time to work on the engine but I hope to have it ready to drop in by next weekend.

I have had this 7 for 16 months and its never been more than 2 miles from the garage and most of the problems were caused by the $800 piece of junk engine my Dad was totally ripped off on. Maybe the po REALLY needed the money but I could never flat out lie to somebody like that.

Good job, Ashley. Did you have any trouble installing the middle iron?

Nothing major but I did need a couple of tries. I held the e-shaft up a couple of inches with my knee. But I have to admit that it is easier with a helper.
