Shitload of smoke..

A shitload of white smoke comes out of the exhausts when I punch the car or apply semi hard throttle. Is it because the car is running very rich? And anyway to fix it?

Also, I goto the gas station to fill up the car, right. Fill the tank all the way with super, crank the car, press the fuel pump, nothing. It took like 20 cranks to get the car started, what gives?

I have no idea how synthetic oil would possibly make your car run rich...
But anyway, its not oil if its white, sounds like coolant, stand behind your car and get someone to rev it, does it smell kind of sweet?(in a really toxic way)
If so, probably coolant seals in your motor.

Fuel smoke is Black, oil is (light) blue, coolant = steam = white

sounds like a bad coolant seal. Coolant burns white, and it will make starting your car difficult if the combustion chamber has coolant leaking into it. Sometimes its not the coolant seal unless the engine has been overheated. If it hasn't been over heated, then sometimes what happens is the material that forms the seal channel will break away and nothing will support the seal. This leads to the seal being dislodged and coolant flooding into the combustion chamber.

This picture from the mazdatrix web site shows how the metal breaks. I've found a couple engines where the entire piece fell into the cooling system.

Yes, you could, however, try and use some form of 'block weld' in the cooling system for a temporary fix (that could potentially last a fairly long time).

The car was running fine on and off boost. So how many miles do I have left before a rebuild? Any cheap sites that have engines?

I don't believe it

Well I have to check tommorow, and see whether it was black or white smoke. But does this usually happen when the seals are going bad? Also, how many more miles do you guys think I have? Any cheap places I can get an engine?

I'm going to goto JR's rotary shop tommorow and see what they say about the situation tommorow. ***

How long its going to last depends on how long you can stand seeing the steam and how long you can be bothered putting coolant in it.

(assuming it IS coolant seals)

How much smoke(steam) are we really talking about here?

The boost comes on fine, and the engine seems to run great.

I had one problem today, filled up gas, engine took forever to crank, is this a problem caused by the seals?

Also, when I first bought the car 2 weeks ago, this never happened. It only smoked when it was cold, as soon as it warmed up it was fine.

Well I'm going to use it as my daily driver, the smoke isnt that bad, but its noticable.

Can I use an additive to help? Just fill it in the coolant every now and than.

Any websites that sell cheap TII engines?

Ok well you obviously missed my post just before about using some form of block weld.
Have a look here, a good write up on the proceedure <-- Rotary Resurection.

It will still boost and run jsut fine with a leaking coolant seal (until it gets really bad).

Well tommorow I'm going to make my way to pep boys or autozone and buy some of this crap and see how it works.

But I need to know why the car was so hard to startup at the gas station?

It was either flooded or had coolant seep into the housings while it was off.

Unsure to say which one.

Well I have a FD fuel pimp wired into the steering column. I rolled up to the place, cut the switch, car stalls, I turn the key off, get out pour gas in. I get back in car and I thought it would have never started.

But should the unflooding procedure work next time?

All that proceedure will do is take out pressure from the fuel lines in case you have leaking injectors.

You could be having hot start/flooding problems like that for lots of reasons. Low compression, water seals leaking into the housings... probably many other things that i've forgotten about aswell.

You could try doing the test for bad water seals by taking the radiator cap off when completly cold and starting the car, too see if coolant comes flying out.
