the Shift light shouldn't come on should it? I mean, normal accelerating, sure...but when WOT down to 7k or so, it shouldn't come on.. Anyone know why?

the shift lights in FCs are always lighting up when they shouldnt. at least both T2s ive owned have done that. what i did was take the instument cluster out and remove the light bulb. that fixed the annoying problem. i know when to shift anyway. i dont know about the buzzer thing though. mine never do that.

Yeah, I know that Tony...
I just don't think it should stay on a WOT, and why? It doesn't bother me a whole lot.. I just want to know if something's wrong, or what?
Other than that, it's Ok..

it should stay on after the set RPM... if the light is set to come on at 2700 RPM, Then it's going to turn on at 2700 and stay on until you shift under it... or at least on my car it should
it's not as advanced to tell if you are WOT or not
and the buzzer... when I'm in first gear flooring it, the buzzer usually pops on at 6500 (7k redline) and by the time it kicks into my head, I'm at redline.... assuming they set it to 6500 just to warn you , you are nearing redline and not to go over it

Yeah, I just wondered if that was suppose to happen or not. Kinda werid that it would stay on at WOT though.
Another question... is it harmful to go past redline (7k) down to 8k on a stock engine? A few I talked to said nah.. it won't damage a rotary... but I dunno.. still kind a leary on that...
