Check the 5th Gear Switch according to the FSM.

Pin 1I, Black/Blue wire, should have less than 1.5 volts w/key to on when not in 5th gear. If you have 12 volts then your 5th Gear Switch is problematic or disconnected.

It's under the carpet as well as a metal protective cover. Pin 1I is part of plug #1 which is the largest ECU plug (there are three of these plugs: large, medium and small)

You could also locate FE-02, which is a 6 pin connector located near the trailing coil, which has a Black/Blue wire on either side of the connector, which happens to be the same wire at pin 1I.

I understand it's a problem... Some things not working, but is it really that big of an issue? Is it keeping you from driving?

Is there anyway to change when the shift light goes off. I'm not worried about fuel economy.

I find the shade of green on the turn signals not to my liking, is there a way to make them a little more green?
