Thumbs up She's back on the road again!

Well, finally collected all the parts to put my 90 back on the road again. Thanks, to Rob at Pineapple to rebuilding my transmition at a drop of a hat. Gotta love that guy. I call him up on Monday, saying Rob, I nuked my box! He says bring it up on thrusday, and we'll slap it together. So he rebuilds it, and I slap it in.

I must say, the box felt good before. Now, its realy tight. Sounds better, and shifts better than ever now.

Funny thing is, after I got the box back into the car, and I put some miles on it. I got after the car a bit (shifting easy) and my air flow % according to my s-afc has increased nearly 7%! So...now my all time high air flow % is 67.1%! So guys...let this be a lesson to you. Rebuilding a tranny counts as a hp mod now

Also, if any of you guys are local to Pineapple Racing, you should drop in there and check out his Imported Cosmo. The car is turn key! Needs a little TLC, (and a bit of bondo )but the car is realy literaly turn key.

Later, CJ

The exaust is the #1 reason. Many people seem to think that single is best, but I'm yet to see anyone put out even anything into the 160s with a single. Besides exaust, there is'nt alot of difference between my car and alot of other cars on the forum. CJ

Well, show me up. I personally would'nt care if someone put down more power than me. I'd give em a slap on the back and say way to go. After my "Pineapple Juice"....I doubt there will be many n/a cars even close. (Not inlcuding bridge, peripherals, etc.) CJ

167 rear wheel NA is very nice, assuming stock port.. The best I've seen claimed is 175 rwhp, on the IT forum..

I haven't dynoed mine yet, but it's very strong.. Hope to get to that in December/January before the next season.

To be honest scott, it was a one time deal. There was a hesitation around 7k rpms, and the peak hold was up there. I do see 60% all the time though. And i beleive that the n/a ones are the same exact ones as the T2 ones. 2.5" in and 3" out. The only way to find out is to call mazda and see if the part numbers are the same.

If I wanted a car that was freakin' LOUD, I'm shure I could find a couple more hp. The RB mufflers do a nice job of keeping it unnoticed by the coppers/other unwanted attention. CJ
