I disagree. I think SexInDaRex's looks best, but I'm a minimalist.

I have yet to mount the rear wing and I need a front lip as well. To make the front end level with the rest of the car. I still need to take care of a few details on the paint and then buff. It hasn't even been buffed yet. I was originally going to 2 tone mine black and silver like the RX above but decided not too after seeing what it looked like in Photoshop.

ugh, so why do people spen all this time to mold the bumpers to the fenders? STRESS CRACKS!!! That green/charcoal colored FC is beautiful but its not going to be as pretty once that bumper starts to move. AKA just driving it or weather changes should be enough.

Talking

I'll be reinforcing it with some bracing on the inside. My body guy's guaranteed me it won't crack so we'll just have to wait and see. I just can't stand the look of skirts and bumpers that look like they where just stuck on as an afterthought. Don't get me wrong, some kits would look better without being molded, mine didn't. Best thing is, like it or not, it's unique.

I work in the racing industry and I promise I've done much harder stuff and with a mig welder. The guy who taught me to weld used to weld the chasis for Dale Jarrett, I saw him weld a piece of aluminum foil perfectly to a welding bench one time with a tig. Not that I have that kind of skill but I can form and weld sheet metal to less than 1/16" clearance of a template and if you can get it that close you could probably even it out with a guide coat of primer. The trick is to let the metal cool enough before welding in the same place again.

I use a heat gun and slowly pull the trim while heating it. Just make sure you wear a good set of gloves.

I think I came in my pants while looking at the green and black fc... Good job... I think the silver one is more my taste though... It isnt too flashy and it is hella sexy. I agree, its gonna be on as soon as you get that front lip

Thanks. Yeah, I went flashy cause the car's built for me to promote my shop as much as just enjoy it. Your right, the silver one is nice, good job. I had a silver/blue one last year. I loved the colour, but I only built the car to sell it.

It's a guy from Toronto that used to make them. I'm pretty sure he made the original and a mold from it. I'll ask him next time I see him. I've had the rear bumper on the car for close to 8yrs now. I've only ever seen 3 others, one belonged to the guy I bought this one from and the other 2 belonged to the guy that ownes the mold. I'm glad you guys like it.

BTW the side skirts are gp1's and the front bumper is a bomber bumper from CAD. I think it's really a bomex bumper. Not sure though. Sexindarex:What side skirts did you use?

On another note: There's no such thing as a beautiful body job without body filler of some type. If you think otherwise your just kidding yourself.
