severe wiring issue, car wont start
what is the bare minimum absolutly mandatory required electronics to start an 86 n/a.
and someone tell me if i have this right...
battery to 80A main fuse to the ignition switch to the interlock switch(where is this located) to the starter cut relay(yet again wheres it at) to the starter. i believe this is correct
any input at all is graciously appriciated

ok so its the battery to the 80A to the ignition switch to the starter.
what if i said i had power going into the ignition switch but no power comming out reguardless of switch position? could I in theory use a small piece of wire to bridge the incomming power wire on the ignition switch to the wire going to the starter and start the car?

Sounds like you have a bad switch or broken key cyl.
Yes you should be able to hot wire past the switch. You would want to use at least 12 awg wire however, as the starter can draw quite a bit

i actually replaced the switch this morning. the issue is still present. as far as i can tell there is a short somewhere within this system and the only ground i know of is on the starter, correct?
