You need to change the entire waterpump and housing, but yes it will bolt to the front cover. The other problem is getting the coolant hoses from the stock radiator to fit since there is a bit of difference between the FD radiator and the FC radiator.

I think RETed said he had done this and it worked, it's something I'm planning on trying, but haven't gotten around to.

for those who are running the serpentine belts on the fc, did you feel any difference with the switch? what are the advantages/disadvantages in running those belts?

The only belts i could find were the Gilmer ones. And those are definitely not serpentine belts.

Also read the note:
(Not suitable for use with Air Conditioning or Power Steering)

What exactly do you want answer to?
We've given you different options for serpentine belts.
If you want something that's also going to work for AC and P/S then you can forget it, either use the stock pullies just for them, or make something custom.

I'm using the Atkin's Serpentine Pulley Kit. It works really well. You can bolt the power steering and AC V-Belt Pulleys onto the Serpentine Crank Pulley if you want to run PS and AC. Everything lines up. I don't think there was any gains in switching to serpentine.
