Series 5 Engine in a Series 4 Car...need help from people who have done this...
Just finished putting and and wiring up the following:
S5 Engine, Engine Harness, ECU, MAF in to 10AE. She runs, exaust leak.
Still:
- No Wipers Work
- Temp Gauge doesn't work
- Boost Gauge doesn't work
- Everything else works

Ok...two options:
1) Series 5 TII Block, mainfolds...series 4 turbo2 hanress, ecu, maf, map
2) Series 5 TII Block, mainfolds, harness...series 4 turbo2 ecu, maf, map
Which would work?

wello again, not too sure if this thread is dead, but if anyone could tell me, if my car will die if i use the s5 water temp sensor and level sensor on the wp, if i use the s5 manifolds and if i use the s5 intake temp sensor/ i figgure i have everything blocked off from the upper and lower intake manifolds, so it shouldnt matter, vacume will still be the same. and unless theres an issue with the tb all should go ok. also, someone, please please please find me how to wire up the s5 alt to the s4, its the same as wireing up a fd alt but for some reason, and i searched, i cant find which two wires go togather, (theres two that go to the alt comming off the s4 wireing harness and the s5, so its just a matter of what wire goes with wich) and i used the oil temp sensor? the little sensor hidden behind the big bell looking sensor on the right hand side behind the spark plugs. well, hell, i dont think there is a sensor iv switched yet, come to think about it, iv only had to rewire two, the rest clipped right into the s4 tII wireing harness. im more worried about getting my new starter soilnoid then sensors right now anyways., bwlaaaaaaaa, i need sleep....
