Is it possible to have a s5 turbo on an 87 tII? i mean if i buy a 90 turbo with the intake and exhaust manifold will it just bolt on??????? wht exactly wuld be needed--if its possible to make a s5 turbo work on s4?

My second question is abt intercoolers-----lets say my car is stock------if i add a front mount to it wht kinda benefits (performance and reliability wise) will i experience?

 

My understanding(and let me say it is limited) is that the S5 turbo should bolt right up. I belive it is better a better set up b/c it has a dual wastegate system. I own an S4 TII and if I could get my hands on an S5 turbo for decent price I would go for it.

 

The s5 Turbo is a bolt on with the manifold.

The intercooler would help alot if it was a aftermarket front mount.

 

wa abt a custom fmic with a starion core?

 

Might have to get some custom work done with a starion core to make it fit right. Check out 1300cc.com he has a great front mount project that uses a starion core.

 

wht exactly wuld its benefits be apart from cooling the temperatures? i know boost drops a lil----how exactly does it help make improve ur car?

 

In simple terms: Front mount intercoolers tend to cool the intake air better. Colder air = more power.

 

the s5 turbo will bolt onto any 13b using the s5 turbo manifold as well. the s4 will using the s4 manifold. you cannot mix and match the manifolds and turbos as the bolt pattern is different.
