that sensor in the oil pan.

The sensor in the s5 t2 oil pan, left of the oil drain plug, can it be blocked off? It's the sensor for the sub-zero assist start, correct? So if I'm not using the SZAS, then that means I don't need it, right?

It should be the oil level sensor, I have a California car though and ours didnt come with cold start

duh, ur right 8) i read somewhere that it had to do with sub zero.

There are two sensors; an oil level sensor and an oil temp switch. Look in the FSM for location and identification.
