starting car + Rtek 1.7 question

well my TII had a hot start problem, so i sent the injectors away and RC cleaned them, and it SORTA fixed the problem. When the car is hot i have to push the gas all the way down when i crank to turn on the car, but it doesnt bother me much. Well i want to get the Rtek 1.7 and 720 sec. but Rtek's unflood feature means if i push down the pedel when i crank, it in essance "pulls my egi fuse" and allows me to unflood without getting out of my car. My question is........ 1) how can i now turn on the car if fuel cuts when i jam down on the pedel?, and 2) what could cause my starting problem in the first place?

1. i'm not sure what you mean... you just crank it til it floods, say "crap my engine sucks", crank it with the gas floored, then release the pedal while you're cranking and it should catch.

2. low compression is probably causing the starting problem.
