seats?

alright i just picked up my first rx-7, its an 87 se but the interior is stripped, not a big deal but for now i was wondering if the seats and steering wheel from an 89 mazda mx-6 gt would fit. i just need something to get me buy untill i can order some bride seats and what ever steering wheel i choose. im going to pick the car up next weekend and im really happy, it needs some tlc but my plan is to put it in the garage and work on it all winter. i've gone through several 240's but i have always wanted a project fc. so when my dad was murdered before christmas last year one of the last conversasions we shared was about an fc that he had. he told me the car was suprisingly quick and that out of all the cars he had ever driven it was one of his favorite. so this project means alot to me. so has any one here had the chance to drive an n/a fc and a ka powered s13 and how does the fc fair? thanks for the help and sorry for rambling, im stuck at home with mono and am on vicaton so im kinda spaced out, well thanks again -peacekeeper-

I've driven both and I say the fc is better in handling and the power. I found the fc has more pull then the s13

Good luck with that project. I'm sure your father would be honored by your continuing in his legacy.

fc is better for higher speeds and rpm as the ka seems to run out of steam in the higher revs. handling i would like to say fc but it also depends on what type of driving you plan on doing. fc is not a good drift car but it seems to go where you point it. steering feel i would go with the 240 but i have no ps in my car so i like the feel the fc gives without it.

youll be happy with a project fc. mine is my only car at this point in time but i carpool all the time so i dont have to abuse my car all the time. another thing is the electrical on fc's suck. well let me say this though even though some things are failing or have failed electrically on my car everytime i start it and drive it i forget about all those electrical problems

yeah the sunroof doesnt work on this one and it has no stereo or speakers, but i dont care. but back to the seats and steering wheel does any one know if they will fit? thanks to eveyone for thier kind words. i love playing around in parking lots and what not but i want to get more into road racing or "cone" racing, and timed stuff. i love pushing myself and the car to its limits and see who brakes first, its usually the car, lol, but i have a really good feeling about this one.
