Oh yeah, the ride is doing fine. Got a few external oil leaks. And still losing very small amounts of coolant. But nothing I can't get ahold of. I've put a few hundred miles on it recently, and other than reaching the half mark on the thermo during xway rides, it's all about the way it was when I got her.

Hey, I haven't posted to this in a while. Figured I would drop in and say hey to everybody that helped me repair my car. Since the last time I have posted, much has happened. I blew an intake coolant line. I got a job. And now the car is doing very well, considering I know the timing is just off.
Just got my first paycheck...gonna get some plugs now soon....I sound soo poor.

I really just wanted to say hey, and thanks to everyone for their help in repairing my 88. You guys brought my only source of transportation back to life. :o)

Well, hello everyone. Damn it's been a while since I have written anything.
And I'm ashamed to say that my '88 gxl, has bit the dust. Man it sucks. Especially after all the work we went through on this beast.
So it may be a while before I post here again, at least until I get another 7.

I am currently selling the car on EBAY. Here's the link, even if you just wanna see a picture of the car you were helping me work on.

First time I've read though the complete post. My hat is off to all the fellows that helped you on this project and I must say you kept it very entertaining with the short comebacks. The guys on this forum are remarkeable. They know where and how every part is disassembled and assembled. Looks as though the tread has a happy ending, not for the car, but for you personally. Maybe we'll hear from you again in the future with another 7.
Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year!
