Seafoam?!?!?
So this is realy effective at cleaning out carbon? I already premix with MMO, will it help any?
I ask because my 5/6 ports are carbon'd up, and anything I can do to help loosen them without taking off the manifolds is worth trying. My car is my only car and I really don't currently have the option of taking a day off to strip off the manifolds to get those pesky ports working again.
Edit: I realize that this won't magically unfreeze the ports, the question is more of "will it do any further good on top of MMO premix".

dont hurt me for being noob, i gota ask questions to learn. so we are talking about putting things in the vacume lines to clean the carbon from the rotors? how can one go about doing so? do you have to dissconnect a vaccume line and put in the Seafoam or MMO or whatever the product is? or do you just put this mix in a certain fluid box and it gets to where it needs to go (yes i know very very noob sounding). and after doing this process you can turn the motor on right after? should you hit redline to help get rid of the carbon? thanks for takin the time to read my reply.

just put the cleaner in a cup and hook a vacuum line up to the engine, hold the throttle open slightly then put the line into the cup and suck up the fluid while keeping the engine revving high enough to keep running.
i wouldn't advise vacuuming up mmo/atf or you will probably have the fire dept showing up at your house and they will not be very happy to find out you were just cleaning the inside of your engine.
typical engine decarbs for rotaries are:
H2O(or water, but i shouldn't need to say that)
carburetor cleaner
a few ounces of mmo/atf (in the leading plug holes, let sit for some time to break up the carbon before starting the engine)
