This is covered in a ton of threads. I know because I searched before I did it. BUt Afterwards my FC idled smoother and seemed to acclerate better as well. So don't be afraid to use it.

Go through the brake booster line. Suck up half the bottle, thn killthe engine and wait ~10 mintues. Then start it up and suck in the rest. Then, after reconnecting the brake booster line, drive aournd until you stop putting a smoke screen over your city.

You can also put a bottle in your gas tank and crank case. And I hear putting some in the winshield washer fluid and radiator can yield up to another 100 RWHP(kidding).

carburetor cleaner is cheaper and probably actually does more without the fuss of the smoke clouds

Im sure he meant vacuum line, I used Gumout Carb Cleaner. It was cheaper and did a better job without the smoke.

The brake booster vacuum line, yes. Sea Foam is supposed to have lubricants not found in carb cleaners. It's like $6 for a bottle. I personally wouldn't risk a carb cleaner, but it may work.

I don't know how you could say gumout 'did a better job'. The smoke isn't that big an issue too unless your'e drving around in alot of traffic. There is one other chemical similair to seam foam, call like BR-151 or something you could use too, though I'd use Sea Foam just to be safe.

I do it twice a year............Once in the spring(after taking it out of storage) and once in the summer. Engine runs like new still and with 105000 on it. Have yet to come up with a con from Carb Cleaner. I spray some in the throttle body then through the upper line by the BOV, oh and through the vacuum pump/port entrance line. Run car and see crap get spit out the tails, cleans the inside of my pipes too on my mufflers.

MMO. Remove leading plugs, squirt in some MMO with an oil can. Rotate engine, squirt x2
Leave over night. Prepare for Spyhunter smoke screen.

214,xxx miles and counting. Orginal motor, 90-92 psi on both rotors.

if you put it in the crank case or whatever you wanna call it , change your oil afterwards soon since seafoam will break down your oil.

Nope. Thats just what happens when you are burning off the MMO. Its the worst part in my opinion.

Steam cleaning is just as good an option as anything, I just prefer MMO because my car does.

I prefer GM Top Engine Cleaner.

Same stuff as sea foam... Infact, i was going to hit the FAQ, or drop a post and see about using it. Looks like I'm doing it this weekend... My AE's got about 106xxx on her, and it's definately time for some heavy duty rotor cleansing.

plenty...it's deffinetly noticable.
More HP, not a whole lot but noticable.....
And it idles smoother.....
She's happier, I can tell
I put it in my gas tank too.
I'll do my crank case later....I put it in the vacuum line, second down on the intake manifold.
The ones facing foward....that's a REALLY good one.

I think a little bit yes....
Just be careful about hydro lock.
And this is way better than water, you should have seen the smoke.
They have videos of it here I think and on youtube.
I would recomend this to anyone.

It's pretty ******* hard to hydrolock a rotary engine.
