Ive got an SDJ header w/ hooley, and its a straight pipe exhaust right now.... Havent had much of a chance to take it over 4k rpms because its deafening, yes, even with the windows up, and music full blast

Agreed. I'm kind of tired of "it felt better", "better all around" with absolutely no backup.

Ok Got a Raptor ($25) muffler at the end of the straight pipe which comes off the SDJ header AND...

I should admit that this is on a 12A with a Holley (I didnt see that this thread was for 2nd gens at first) but regardless, its still an SDJ header. I finally got to open it up

There is a good but not a tremendous amount of low end torque, but enough that you do not need to use the gas when you let off the clutch (it always died stock)

I will say that the engine is pretty much asleep until 3000rpms, starts to wake up then is fully awakened at 4500. From 4500 to 7500 in gear is like riding a jolt of lightning!! IT keeps pulling stong at 7500 like it will pull harder through 9000rpms, but I dont want to do that with out a much more upgraded oil and cooling system, plus hardened gears. Temptation is so hard to resist!!
I swear putting the header on must have taken at least 2 seconds off my 0-60mph time!

Its slightly quicker from idle to 3000rpms over stock. I have not had any ecperience with an RB header to compare it to. But if it kcks this much more ***, imagine what itll do on all of 'yall 13b's. That a whole extra 10 cu. in. of madness!!

Id estimate 20 more horse over stock, yet with the Holley it should be 60 over stock. Ive got some investigating to do

If looks are a measure it looks more badarsh than the RB header. U plan on making a turbo manifold for the FC? With a T4 flange .. would be sweet.

It's a header... who cares about the way it looks?

Not really. You made more adjustments to your car than just adding the SDJ header.

I want a dyno with ONLY the header difference.

Such as...
Pulls with stock
Pulls with RB
Pulls with SDJ

Same car/conditions/etc.
