I got them out with a perfect fitiing screwdriver, had to push down really hard while turning it though. If yours are now stripped you should be able to get some vice grips around the head and get them out that way.

Just use a locking pliers. Press down hard as you clamp onto them.

hammer/screwdriver..... place screwdriver on screw hammer the screwdriver downuntil it makes its own pattern (try to go as deep as you can into the screw) and then see what you can do with that... i use that as a last resort.

We're offering stainless steel replacement bolt kits for this so this problem is minimized!

Kits include 10 hex cap screws (two extra) and the hex key tool for removal and reinstall.

No, not yet.
I'm looking for the best vendor to get all the pieces from so the price savings is passed onto the buyer.
I'm trying to get everything ready for my Euro trip for hIGGI, so that stuff is all on hold. - see .sig

If you can hold on for a couple of months, I can take care of all of that then.

That's no problem. I just swapped a fuel pump out and half of the screws got like half stripped. I can still get them out most likely, but one more time and I'm afraid some of them will be done for

dremel tool. get it in there and cut a straight slot across, then take em off with a flat screwdriver. but remember, sparks + gas = BOOM, so be careful.

pat

ps it can be doen without blowing yourself up, good application of damp rags is a good precaution..spread em out around where youre working and just leave enough room between em to do your thing...ive dont it twice now..and im still here..
