Question coolant overflowing before car is even warm

just recently everytime I drive my car it kicks about a 1/2 liter of coolant into the overflow tank, sometimes even before it even gets warm, then it won't suck it back. It isn't overheating or anything. I am so sick of that buzzer though.

The little hose that leads to the overflow tank fell out a while back, but I put it back in...would that cause my problem? also would a new cap make a difference? Is it lack of pressure that causes the coolant to get kicked out.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You may want to check and see if your coolant caps are switched. You should have one on the radiator, that has a pressurizer inside of it, then there should be one off of water pump that should be flat underneath. If these are switched it can cause you to overflow.

I don't have the cap on the radiator...I think that was only 88's and up or something like that , but I should've put my signature in...86 GX 4500km's on rebuilt engine. All I know is I am real annoyed...my dad and I are going to apoxy the little overflow hose first and see if that is maybe leaking out pressure or something and then we'll buy a new cap and hopefully that'll fix the problem.
