Scratch in housing of a S5 T2 engine?🤔 Help..

I have som pics of my housings S5 turbo 2 engine that has been stored for over 10 years, before that it was a new block that been used for 2 summers and have a total of 3000km on it..
I see one scratch in the middle of both housings or is it just some dirt🤔
It would bee nice if someone that know more about it could give me some tips on if I should rebuild it😬 or just put in the car 😊

spin it over and make sure it has all 6 puffs, and if it does toss it in the car.

Get some 2 stroke lubricant in there on both rotor housings and spin it over by hand a few times while listening for compression.

Have fun!

If you were using the omp, the middle of the housings wear differently than if you had no omp and were premixing.

it seems the oil from the omp doesn’t get distributed evenly across the housing and that wear pattern is normal.

And it would be the opposite of a scratch if using the omp as the middle housing section is actually smoother there than anywhere else.
