Sard Injectors? what's up with the pintle caps..
Is anyone using Sard Injectors?
I came across these 800cc injectors for S5 TII, and was thinking of getting them.

What's up with the pintle caps and o-rings?
will these work?
..or should I go with the TLF Venom's on eBay.

Those don't look like they will fit. Now I could be wrong, but for $160 I would expect to be pretty certain considering that's an insane amount of money to spend on one injector....

I emailed them,
Here's their response.
-I'm ordering a set.
"Chris,
thank you for the inquiry. the injectors have the same shape and size as the 1990 Series 5 injectors and therefore are a direct fit in every way for either the primary or secondary injectors.
Yes, the pintle caps have a 4-hole version while the OEM ones utilize a pintle sprayer. You will have no problem with compatibility, reliability or spray pattern with these. thank you!

Well, only one thread out there on these injectors. I have purchased mine 2 months ago and because my project doesnt continue, i didnt compare the stock and the SARD injectors.. now as i checked for the o-rings and stuff, i noticed big differences.. i am really not sure if they will fit...
i have no chance to try them out right now, because my car is over 140miles away from me.
Does somebody have this INjectors? do they fit? id apreciate each reply..

It will physically fit, but the pintle is was too short to fit inside the injector bleed once the lower o-ring is installed. The result will probably be a vacuum leak.

Also, I noticed in the pics on the site, there are 4 holes where the pintle cap goes (on some models, I'm curious which ones you purchased). How will that affect atomization, and can you find pintle caps with 4 holes? Do you have a pic of the bottom of the injector? I looked at these, and I was curious as to if they will work as well. Keep us posted on your progress with them.

sorry it slipped my mind to subscribe to this thread.
i needed new insulator, i bought them from my local mazdadealer, the partNR. is: N350-13-257
well.. they are different, as you can see in the following pictures:
to the LEFT the old insulator, to the RIGHT the new one (one piece, without a small o-ring??)
and this one is looking very bad...
the pintlecap of the SARD has 2 bigger and 2 smaller holes in it.
