safe on rotor - brake pads
I read through few dozen posts about brake pads, but could not get the info I am looking for
for us street drivers, which brake pads will NOT eat rotors or will do the least damage to the rotors?
this is for a S5 gxl, front.

Agreed. For street use (and even light autocross), stock or generic pads are fine. I have some Autozone pads on mine right now, and they stop it just fine. They'd fade into oblivion in about a lap of a decent road course, but they're fine for autocross & such.

^^^ I thought Green Stuff pads had to be warmed up before they would stop properly, because they're "race-oriented", I guess... does anyone know anything about this?
