Safe (max) psi on s4 with stock setup?

Safe (max) psi on s4 with stock setup?

What is the safe max boost pressure i can run on an s4 with a stock setup meaning stock (engine, ports, turbo, ic, etc.....)

I wouldn't even run 10 without atleast a fuel pump or rewire.

I also woudln't try to push 10psi through the stock cats and intake. you are just making more heat in the engine.

I saw a grassroots article where they test the stock fuel system, said at 11psi it was maxed out, so I think 10 is the safe zone...

im thinkin bout running round 8 psi....i think thats okay without fcd correct?

Even with the FCD, I believe 8PSI is a good safe zone.

i hit 9 at redline but i have a home depot intake and a strait pipe with stock mufler for a exsaust. i am planing on rewiring. just a thought.

Sorry if this is dumb question but is the a how to on what you guys call "rewiring" or are you just talking about grounding it correctly?

How are you guess increasing the boost?

I hit 16 PSI on the stock fueling... Dont know how the motor survived, but it did.

My fuel pump is running out at 9psi above 6,000 rpms. I am sure I need to rewire it.
