SAFC Wiring Diagram?????
i have an safc, but i dont have the slightest clue on how to wire it into the harness. the car is a 1991 N/A RX7. all the sites require an adobe reader, i cant download one. does anybody have pictures of how this SAFC is supposed to be wired?

The ash tray install for the head unit is exactly what I did, and I cannot think of a better way of doing it.
As to the wiring, I strongly suggest you solder male spades to the SAFC harness and female spades to the ECU harness rather than solder directly as otherwise indicated. I used Scotch Locks like these: http://www.imperialinc.com/items.asp?item=0713650 on all the wires (save for the one wire you have to cut) then soldered the wires to the Scotch Lock crip before closing them.
Then solder these connectors http://www.imperialinc.com/items.asp?item=0710050 to the SAFC harness wiring to create a plug and play install. Although tempting, I do NOT recommend using the Scotch Locks without soldering. Scotch Locks by themselves are notorious for sporatic connection.
This way if something goes screwy with the SAFC (it happens), you can simply disconnect the SAFC and plug the wires back to stock to make the car driveable.
