SAFC Throttle sensor trouble...
Okay I jsut installed my new 2nd gen APEXi SAFC, and when I press the throllet like 55-60% down it goes to 100% on the SAFC, did I do something wrong? I mean my low throttle setting is like never used.......I did break a bolt top off the braket for the throttle line, it was the bottom bolt on the backside of the intake mani, but I did torque down the top bold so it won't move and made it even with the bottom bolt hole, my question how do I get that bottom half out? gonna be a bitch......it hasn't moved and is still where is should be but why is the SAFC throttle read wrong, is there anythign I can do to change it??

you have a second gen.... the tps sensor reads 100% at 1/4 throttle. this is normal.
really hate to say this, but searching would have clued you in to this. its been mentioned numerous times before.

normal for 86-88. tps reads full at 30% throttle or so.
set your high at 99% and low at 98%
thay way you'll have high settings over 30% throttle and low under 30%

set your low at like 10% and your high at 99% and then you'll have a smooth transition from power off to power on correction.
How are those bushing measurements coming?

Sucky about the money order. Paypal is a blessing for that exact reason. Real time transaction confirmation.
As for the S5 I haven't ever played with one. You'd want to set it up so that your high and low points accurately adjust fuel delivery where the motor needs it, and the range in between extrapolates the correction so that it runs smooth across the variation.
