S'AFC in N/A's and Injector question

I'm curious how many of you guys out there have a S'AFC in your n/a's. i know a bunch of TII guys have them, but i'm more curious how much of a performance gain you coudl see out of an n/a.

Also would i be correct to assume that unless i did some major engine work like a bridgeport with hardend internal gears and lightened flywheel to make the redline go slightly higher it would be unnessicary to add larger injectors because i'd also need more air thrown into the rotor chambers and without forced induction it wouldn't really do the trick on it's own?

Turbo or NA makes no difference, the theory is the same. The factory mixtures are conservatively rich and leaning them out improves power and reduces fuel consumption.

If you have a bridgeport then yes you would need to upgrade the injectors, and most likely the pump too. A set of TII injectors and pump would be more than sufficient, but you'd also need a programmable ECU, and the stock ECU will not run a bridgeport well. The second part of your question doesn't make much sense. You don’t "need" more air, the bigger ports allow more to be sucked in. That's where the extra power comes from.
