SAFC, and heat soak
ok i have two quik q's. Are SAFC's universal? cause my buddy finds them pretty cheap on the honda forums and i hardly ever find them hear.
second q- After installing my header the engine bay temp has risen quit a bit it seems. . i don't want to use a heat sheild because i like having a nice simple engine bay. . Is there a thermo wrap or somethng that i can wrap the header with? i recall seeing someones' turbo piping wrapped in this stuff but am not sure. . anyone?
thanks Dom

a safc is a safc.... but the honda boys like the use the v-afc or something with a v in there somewhere. its a v-tec controller. but a SAFC is a safc. make sure it has the wiring harness thing. if its not under 190 shipped with book, stand, and all then its not *cheap*, its normal price.
Heat wrap... use it. Yes its with the turbo boys put on a DP. Got some on mine. Search the net... its for sale everywhere. Maybe ebay can hook you up.
