1.3L piston eater
in my opinion use engine oil or 2 stroke oil (only a tablespoon in each hole) i used a tablespoon of 2 stroke oil in each Leading hole to get mine started after i installed my microtech and it was flooded like crazy.. just pulled the bottom 2 plugs, cranked over till there was no mist and grabbed a hose poured a bit of 2 stroke in, put the plugs back in and bam instant temp. compression!!! expect lots of smoke!

I've used the ATF trick several times on several different cars and it has never caused a problem. I do on the other hand seafoam them after I use the ATF. I prefer using ATF because of its thickness. I love seafoam but use it more as a cleansing agent, it does a great job at freeing up stuck seals but seems to take longer to get the same results than ATF. I dont care what anyone thinks about the topic. It works for me. Just my .02 from personal experience.

just curious if seafoam may free up a locked up engine thats been sitting out?
i've used it on my rotary but, my dads got an engine he left sit out due to work not giving him time to drop it in his truck??
i'm thinking that it might have rust deposits

2-stroke works just as good and is intended to do the job we need it for.
ATF isn't engine oil. Its hydraulic oil... goes in.. get this... automatic transmissions.... oh.. and power steering.
