Unhappy Sad day for my SE

Went mountain racing last night and everything was going good. It was like every other time I've gone up. We made one run and everything was cool. On the second run things were going good until I came out of a turn a little too fast. Theres a hump right after the turn and from what I remember, my car caught some air. I was headed towards the side of the mountain and my two left tires went into the gutter and hit a rock. Lucky for me and my passenger, nothing bad happened and my car was driveable. Heres the pictures I took today of the car.

I was thinking about fixing the damage but my friend came across an 86 GXL for VERY little money. It needs an engine and is in very clean with the exception of a dent in the rear quarter panel. Im thinking about swapping my engine and other parts into the GXL so I can finally have 4 piston brakes and LSD. What do you guys think? Sorry for the long post.

Man, your car WAS pretty nice. Had it been painted recently, because the red looks fresh in the no impact zones. That's a shame, but in another way an impact can sometimes add character to a car. It sorta gives it that "don't mess with me, I got nothin' to lose" look.

thanks guys. The wheels are old wrd wheels that I had laying around. I sanded them and gave them a crapload of flat black coats.

My alignment is way off. I really dont know if something got messed up in the front. When I drove home, every right turn felt like the back was steering too. The backend felt like it was coming out. Something got messed up with the rear tire. Its crooked. I took it off today and saw some bent things underthere. I dont know if I got some frame damage yet. If I do then Im going the GXL route. If not, I may consider fixing it.
