Not A Winter Car?! Ha!

Just wanted you guys to know that after our -35 degrees Celcius blizzard/storm last night, I went out this morning at 8AM (I got up early just to do this when it was cold) and started my car. It wan't plugged in or in a garage or anything. It started as if it was in Florida on a hot summery day!

Don't ever let anyone say the rotary isn't a winterized engine. There are very few 14 year old cars that can still start without a block heater when its -35 out!!! (It was -30 when I started it, but the low was -35!)

I still would invest in an engine warmer though. I'd hate if any fuilds froze and the car overheated.

oh and the problem with the cold isn't the car not starting, it's having the metal crack and break...

I am in Canada- I have NEVER had a problem with my car starting on the first couple cranks even in weather WAYYY below freezing. I never give it a second thought. Takes a while to warm up though.
The thing that prevents these cars from being "winter cars" is the fact the the TRACTION SUCKS!!!
Light back end+225's+5 speed=I go no where.

You forgot to add that it has been 80 degrees and sunny for the past 2 weeks, except the rain last weekend. BTW, if the weather goes back to normal, we need to go to the beach
