I've got an msd and still bogs. Sonic I have the corrections set at -24% until 3000rpm and then -32% for everything past that.

the problem is when the turo kicks in it just seems like it goes slower once it cut on. I get 10lbs of boost but it feels like I've got no power hardly. When my stage 1 would kick in it would through you back so I know its just not tuned right. I'm going to put in the 720's to see how it goes.

Well, figure this.

Stock injectors are 4x550.

For the 720's, the primaries are 24% larger, so until your secondaries kick in, that should be fine. But the secondaries themselves are 39% larger than stock, not even taking into account that your primaries are firing too. IIRC they drop 50% of their current DC and give it to the secondaries, but anyway, once the secondaries come in, then you need to combine both the 720 correction AND the 890. You're not even corrected enough for 890 in the secondaries by themselves, let alone with 720 primaries.

Just keep an eye on the wideband, you must be full rich right now with only 32!

really? ok I'll tune them down to what, 39-40? What do you suggest. I just don't want to go to lean and have the thing detonate on me.

Well, to be around stock, you'd need -63% (24 + 39), because BOTH sets are larger by those percentages, so I'd try running -40% giving it a few soft runs, keep an eye on the wideband and see how it shows, and go from there. Chances are you'll need to give it even more correction than that at 10psi

Hey guys do yall think it would be smarter to have a 550/890 combo so that I wouldn't get hot start problems anymore? Could I tune this combo as well as the 720x4f combo? I just don't want to have to worry about flooding every damn time I get out of my car after driving. Will there be some sort of bad hessitation or jump/jult with this combo at 3500rpm? Thanks guys.

Reason I'm asking is because after looking at this calculator http://rx7.com/cgi-local/2ndgencalc.cgi a 4x720 and a 550/890cc combo both support the same exact hp without giving me damn hotstart issues.

edit: oh yeah and if that is the case then karack, trade you my 720cc injectors for the 550's I sold you you gotta pay shipping though. Sound good?

hey sonic, there is an update. THe turbo works fine I'm assuming, at least the smoke has cleared I just found out that the 890cc injectors do work and that my batery was bad. I just bought a new batery and tested the 890cc injectors in the primary location and put a small cup under each one and after cranking it for a second both cups had the same amount of fuel in them. I just put everything back together and will be testing it again today.

You should also strenghten your ground to the EFI harness. I was bogging at about 5k with the stock injectors shortly after they came online. I had the injectors cleaned and then re-ran a new ground from the negative battery terminal to the bolt hole on the rear rotor housing with the EFI ground right on top of that. The car runs much better all around and the hesitation is gone.
