S6 housing on s5 engine?

It's a jdm s5 turbo engine. I want to use s6 housings on my s5 engine. They look the same except the s6 housings coolant passage is blocked/closed. How can I use this on my s5 engine? I am running the stock turbo. Any help will be appreciated.

From RETed:

The rotor housings bolt together, but 1) the spark plug positions are like the Kouki motors - a little lower than the Zenki ones, and 2) if you need the water passage for the stock turbo, they are not drilled on the 13B-REW.
So, I don't call them swapable at all - not without a little custom machining.

Unless you already have the S6 housings laying around or are getting a smoking deal on them I don't think there's really a reason to use them. When bought new S5 housings are about $200 cheaper per housing than S6.

s5 and FD spark plug holes are the same It was the usa s4 t2 that was the oddball.

that being said, to run the stock turbo water setup, you would have to have the housing drilled and machined down to accept an oring just like the stock housing( risk of ruining housing it done incorrectly)

or just run a different source for your turbo water supply. you could cut the stock feed line shorter, and then run a hose route it up to get water from where the thermowax, bac hose sources water from( easy if your deleting that anyway) or something of the like.
