Question need new front housing will any s5+ housing work?

i need a new front s5 housing for my rebuild .... will any s5 or s6 housing work or will i need a FRONT one only? thanks

You have to use the same series and trim level rotor housing as the other one is. For example S5 TII use a S5 TII housing. Front, rear it don’t matter just make sure you use the same one. Because the different series and trim levels all have differences. IE spark plug hole location, exhaust ports, etc. Both housings must be the same have fun (I just repeated my self a couple of times didn’t I hehe)

i wanna ask a stupid quest
but is it still ok to rebuild an engine over 180k miles on it?

depends on the condition of the internals when the engine is opened up. You might need to replace a rotor, rotorhousing, or both.
