S5 Wipers run (switch off) when car is wet
I searched.
Any one know where to start looking for the short?
Does not blow fuses. Switch rebuilt by IceMark and works perfectly as long as car is not soaked. Only happens in a heavy rain (no problem) or when I pressure wash the car (not good).

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
wiper motor is leaking. There are switch contacts inside.
And you probably should not be pressure washing a car, as it tends to rip the wax and oils out of the paint.

I assume that some paint or silicon sealer around the "seams" of the wiper motor might be an easy fix?
