Pulling counter weight, What to use? Don't have specific tool.

What have you guys used to pull the counter weight. No tool store has one specifically made for the rotary. I have to replace rear main seal.

I used a pulley remover that I got from either pep-boys or autozone. Worked like a charm.

Check the FSM and you can see how it is supposed to be removed. I can't remember if I used the one with teeth on it or the one where you thread two bolts through to pull it off. One of them definitely worked really well though.

if you can find me a place to buy a 2 1/8 socket ill send you a puller all i used was a disk i drilled holes into to hold it straight and then some on the out side to put longer bolts into to push it off

I tried a harmonic balancer puller and the threads started to stretch. I have to do it with the engine in, will that pose a problem. Not much room and im am tall.

racing beat has a tool, i don't know where exactly it is on there website, you should take a look. It's most likely under the flywheel section.

lol, tried that. hard to get a good angle when you are hunch over under the car in the transmission shell. It would be no problem if engine was removed. thanks for the "tip"
