well, it started when the weather changed, so at first i chalked it up to cold starting. It wasn't jumping up to the 3krpm when starting for the safe warm up, i assumed that was the wax idle valve needing to be cleaned. then it started acting as if it were flooded every time i went to start it, even if it had just been running. So i would use the deflooding tactics, holding the gas down, or pulling the fuse. I kinda got used to that and was assuming it was an injector issue or something fuel related. As a few weeks went by with dealing with that issue it hesitated more and more each time i tried to start it. Then eventually it consistently would white smoke a little bit when it would finally start, again i assumed it was just too much fuel causing the white smoke.
Then eventually almost everyday my low coolant sensor was buzzing at me. Then finally it came to a point with all of the above issues happening each time i started it, combined with a strong burning coolant smell. Finally i decided it was time to have it looked at, and sure enough it was a blown internal coolant seal on the rear rotor. During all of this, and even up until the day i finally decided to pull the motor and start work on a TII swap (which is in the process right now) it would always run like a champ once it finally started.
