All right.. who's around the Detroit area? I know Chris Sanders is downriver of here, I know JimmyV13 is arond here too, along with Fox4Life and FreedS4.. but I don't know who of them can for sure identify a ported engine just by hearing it run.

Wait a minute.. Andy at Mitch's Auto can do it.. maybe I'll take it to him tomorrow. Yeah... THAT'S the ticket. I've got a caliper I need to take back to him for a core return anyhow.

dumped!?!? was the clutch slipping? I don't see how else you could avoid doing a nice smoke show for those watching.

Yea I can't dump my clutch out at anything over 3500 or I get mad wheel spin all the way thorugh the 330ft adn my car just has a cone filter and is N/A !

I pulled a 2.06 60 ft on one of my runs at a local streetrace type venew at the track . I missed 3rd though becuase my shifter bushings are shot to hell .

Some type of 215/60/14 tires .

the stock clutch lasted a while but my clutch master failed while i was racing and burnt it to hell. i put in a used act six puck race clutch and never had a problem afterwards. my car had tokico illumina's and eibach pro kit springs. i just kept playing with shock settings till i got it the way i wanted it....

I am in the Detroit area, and had a street ported NA for a while.

Not that I think Vosko is a lier but, I would think launching that high in a modded t2 would just spin the **** out of the tires.

What elevation was the track? A Cool day so that helped. Those 60' times were pretty good so that helped. I'd say a combination of cool air a sticky track and air density that day.

Good times!!!

hmm..

Your jspec is either streetported or your boost gauge is off.

I know good driver has alot to do with it. But a stock s5 motor/turbo with a full exhaust and cone fitler only running 6psi would NEVER EVER run 13.7 @ 104. The full exhuast and intake would spike you over 11-12psi with is past fuel cut. A stock s5 runs 15.0 flats and stock it pulls more boost that 6psi.

My best guess is a port or maybe your boost gauge is wrong. I bet with a full exhaust and intake you could hit those times, just not @ 6psi.

I ran 14.5 with a dp, md, stock catback and a intake with a slipping clutch. I would've been into the 13's with just a good clutch, with a catback , I would of probably ran the same times ...around a 13.7 @ 10x

at any rate, kick *** times though....!!!!

Well it happened, I can scan the timeslips for you if you want, actually four of 'em sub 14 times..

I'm pretty sure the boost gauge is right on, because it boosts up to exactly 5.5 and sits there, and maybe creeps to 6 psi once in a while.

And if I was going over 8.whatever, it would have hit fuel cut before I put the FCD on, and it never did hit fuel cut.

I dunno, I'm gonna get it dynoed I think.
