S5 Turbo Wastegate Porting...necessary?

Kinda, sorta lazy and kinda, sorta have no idea wtf I'd be doing.

Setup is S4 block, manifolds, and electronics.
RTek 1.7, 550cc Primaries, 750cc Secondaries
FMIC, Apexi Twin Chamber BOV
No emmisions, no OMP
Stock boost
3" straight back

Gonna be switching up to an S5 turbo. Is porting the wastegate REALLY necessary on S5 turbos?

Y/N?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. I have an S5 turbo with a ported wastegate and still couldn't get boost under control.
