IN S5 turbo swap with TII harness on N/A chassis..........need help with wiring.

so i did the turbo swap/conversion on my S5 N/A and i used the TII engine harness US version. i need to know how to rewire or re pin the orange/yellow emissions connectors and anything else needed to be rewired/repinned so that my car will actually run properly. there is not much if any info on this, so i need someone to help me out who has done this before. thanks in advance! can i just match the wire colors and cut and splice them in?

P.S. pictures help alot

i did, but there was no change in the way it was acting so i went with the stock N370 tII harness and the N370 ECU. why doesnt the TII harness with the N370 ECU plug and play?

the only differences i have seen between the two harnesses are that yellow em connector on the N/A harness has a few more wires, the yellow/orange connectors match up identical, and the small ecu connector on the n/a harness has a black wire at one of the pins while the TII harness has a yellow wire with a black stipe in the same pin.

What is your car doing? I've ran no emissions hooked up. But are you hooking up everything for emissions?

here is a brief:

i am running TII upper and lower intakes, throttle body, stock tmic, WORKING omp, tps, airflow meter, boost sensor, air intake temp sensor, water thermo sensor, all 4 TII 550cc injectors, stock oil injectors, knock sensor(for the hell of it), N370 ECU, N370 US version engine wire harness, TII fuel pump, stock TII fuel rails.

no emissions. my car wont start easily. it will start, run very very very rich, then wants to die and not start again unless i mess with it for about 10 minutes.

Sell it or take it to a mechanic already. You know that saying about beating a dead horse? It's obvious that fixing the car is beyond you.

On a series five car you should be able to use the na harness on the turbo with minor changes in the engien compartment. UNLIKE a series four car.

Just go to the CONTROL UNIT pages of the free online FSM and compare the pinouts for the non turbo to the Turbo car. The difference on a series five a minor. Not so on a series four imho.

If you used a turbo EM harness on the non turbo car things would be even simpler. Look at the CONTROL UNIT pages and what each wire does and compare b/t turbo and non turbo.

You put a turbo EM on a non turbo car and from my view point I don't see why you should have to do anything at all as long as it was a USA TURBO EM harness. And as long as they are the same series EM harness. NO series four turbo EM harness on a series five car type thing.

And are using a Turbo ECU on the swap.

turbo us harness will work just fine on a na s5. no changes needed.

do you still have a bac? check your timing, tps, and spray for vacuum leaks.
