to make things easy, on your S5 block use

S5 exhaust manifold
S5 turbo
S5 LIM
S5 UIM
S5 intercooler (S4 will work too, but S5 will sit properly)
S4 TB with S4 TPS
S4 injectors+harness+ECU
S4 front cover with mechanical OMP or premix
S4 or S5 transmission (does not matter as long as both are turbo)
S5 flywheel (flywheel must match engine)

this setup will get you straight running, u will still be limited by your S4 ECU boost cut and such things, but u should get power sooner since using better S5 turbo design....

From what Ive heard so dont quote me on this that to get the full use of it you would use the s5 ecu.. Not sure totally.

Iwould like to know what is the diffrence between the S5, and the S4 blocks as far as internals are concerned ?
The reason I ask is, because im in the process of looking for a block for my 88 T-II. I would like to go with the S5 block, because obviously of the Turbo, and E.manifold are better, than the S4. But then again ive herad from pople that supposedly the turbo 2's that run harder are the ones with the S4 series blocks, due to the fact that they are low compression, compared to there S5 counterparts which are high compression. So I want to know is should I go with a S5 block or a S4 block for my 88 Turbo 2 ? I want to go with a MT LT8 setup with a 60-1 turbo, and all the fixins along with it, so im planning on getting between 350-410 RWHP. I would like to know basically the pro's, and con's of each series, and which one is a more solid foundation. Everyone please rep;y with your thoughts, Thanks.
