s5 turbo 2 in s4 na swap

i want to put an s5 turbo 2 in my 88 gxl. Some people want me to do the s4 because of simplicity and I've been reading on here about some people using the core block then using there s4 accessories on the car so they can still run the stock wiring harness. I'm looking to do this swap more so for the cheapness it will cost me than the headache i may incur later. so i want to make sure of a few things. here is a list of what i am going to buy and have at my disposal

s5 turbo 2 engine, wiring harness, transmission, 2 s5 ecu's, na s4 wiring harness and ecu, currently working out a deal to get an s4 turbo afm, ecu and pressure sensor if i need it to help ease this swap and a superafcii

is running the s4 na accessories true or do i need to stick with the s5's turbo accessories (ie sensors for the ecu)

and am i right in thinking i can run my s4 na ecu or s4 turbo ecu and wiring harness with s4 turbo afm, and pressure sensor on the s5 engine

Use the short block only and swap in S4 TII electronics. You can then treat it just like an S4 NA to S4 TII swap. Click the link in my sig for details, or check the FAQ.

if you already have all that stuff why not just get a n370 AFM and pressure sensor and upgrade to superior S5 engine electronics (would only take a few hours ) rather than strip the engine down and swap everything over, and either change the front cover and OMP or premix your fuel, you can splice a few wires under the dash and have everything running properly

Superior S5 electronics? Hah, so you can deal with outrageously expensive electronic OMPs, limp mode and hard-to-find N370 ECUs? The electronics are largely the same functionally, but you gain a whole lot of annoying downsides. The only thing "superior" is the TPS, but it's not even necessary. And regardless of your experiences re-wiring your car, most people are not capable of pulling it off properly. I'm very familiar with all of the changes necessary to get it done, and it's just so much more work than going S4 to S4, that there's no comparison. The extent of re-wiring that went into my S4 turbo swap (in an S4 car) took literally 5 minutes.
