S5 TII-> S4 NA isn't going so well
Basically as it says, I've got everything to do an S5t2 swap into my S4 NA chassis however the harness on the driver's side isn't fitting into the t2 ecu (n337 I think?) and I've talked to japan2la and some other guys and its not looking so good. they say my options are, a) change the driver's side harness which I hear is a bitch, b) Make my S5 into an S4 by changing front cover, harness, ecu etc or c) run a stand alone. (japan2la reccomended a microtech which sounds good but **** thats commitment)....I just need to know if anyones gone this route or run into this problem or some honest opinions...the standalone isnt so far fetched but on military pay scale its going to be a month or two before I can snag one. Let me know and I appreciate everyone checkin out regaurdless if you can help me or not.
thanks!

Ya, your supposed to stay within series when swapping from na to t2. Otherwise your looking at long hours of wiring. I ran into the same problem you have but I pushed the easy button and got a haltech. Have fun.
If you're using premix and not using an OMP then you shouldn't need to change the front cover. The oil return for the turbo is in the same place on both engines. Just make sure you block off the OMP flange on the cover if you aren't going to use it.

Depends on several variables. You havent mentioned whether you are running the stock fan or not, which radiator you are running, etc. Generally, I would say no.
Why do you seem to think it's my responsibility to answer you? You already sent me duplicate email and pm's about the same stuff, and frankly its hard to read your writing and you give very few specifics that can affect the requirements.

IF you use the s4 rad, you cant use the s5 waterpump/housing/neck because then you cannot fill the coolant all the way up...the radiator sits lower than the engine. You cant use the s4 thermostat neck on an s5 water pump housing.
If you get an s5 radiator you can use the s5 housing/pump/neck/fan and be good to go.
I guess I just get annoyed that I seem to be the go-to guy on the entire forum for answering questions about people's screwed up swaps. I don't do cross series swaps, and I dont recommend that anyone else do, but people still bring their problems with cross series swaps to me anyway.
