S5 Tii

S5 Tii
Hey all I might get an S5 EDIT I FORGOT TO ADD THAT IT IS A "TII" that is in need of some work. Possibly a new engine but most of the car is there. Obviously I want to see if it IS blown or not but I want to run this by you guys first. I may be buying the car from my friend/partner MAX as he is now looking for one that works to buy. The things I am looking at doing if I get it is like this:
1 Drain the fuel from the gas tank and replace with new fuel and some pre-mix to help lube her up.(incase that S5 MOP has decided to go to heaven)
2 Change the motor oil for some good old Mobile One 10W 40 and a new filter
3 Change out the coolant for a 45-55 collant water mix.(if I can find water wetter I will add that in there too)
4 Install an ECU I bought in advance for it.
5 Install an S5 N/a AFM(this is temporary as it will run hella RICH I know)
6 Pour some two stroke oil into the engine and let it sit for a couple of days to soak up.(I was thinking MMO but I am not sure about this yet)
7 Buy New Plugs for it.
8 Cone filter as the stock air box is gone
9 Install my FC alternator(Since my FD alt is on its way back to me )
There are two sensors I am still missing. To my great stupidity I missed a great opportunity to buy a TPS for it from a member here as I didn't plan to buy it at that time I was left waiting for a friend to get the money for it and he never did. I have yet to apologize for that. The other one that I know of is the Pressure Sensor.
I know that without the TPS it will run but shitty. But what about the pressure sensor?
I also would like to get input from you all as to what else to do BEFORE starting it or trying to atleast.
I am asking you all because I am practically new to TII's and S5's too. But anyone with more ideas on what to do to it before I fire it up would be helpfull to me.
On a SIDE NOTE: This car will be the test fitting car for the TII intake that will be finished in several months And with the new found dyno shop in my town there will be dyno sheets in the future for this intake aswell as the N/a's intake which is set to go on the dyno this week on friday. A New set of THREE guages is going to be ordered from Nordskog To test a bunch of stuff on the TII car as there are many different areas where air temps change
My hopes are definately up as to now the possibility of me having both sides of the RX-7 and having a project car to restore. I just have to wait for my funds to regenerate as I am low at the moment but if all goes well I will be part of both "familias" (Families for those who don't know spanish) woot I still think I will love my N/a though. Only time will tell.

You'll have a hell of a time without the TPS as it helps control the OMP as well. Pressure sensor you can get away with as long as you *DO NOT* boost. The N/A AFM will work fine until you go WOT then it starts to get a bit hazy. Got any questions, get on AIM, i've done so much with the s5 tII it's sick.

Anyway, I believe I've got spare TPS somewhere around, what happened to yours? Removed/bad? If you end up with a OMP error, rip it apart and clean it out with some electronic parts cleaner/brake parts cleaner. It worked wonders for mine!
