s5 tails help

So my car is about to be street legal and I had a set of s5 tails that came with the car that I'd love to put on. The only problem is that the drivers side license plate light lense is missing. So the bulb is completely exposed to the elements. My question is, is there anywhere I could source just the lense its self without buying a new drivers side tail?

Or even somewhere I can just buy plastic and super/hot glue it in place? I'm not sure if homedepot or lowest carries plastic like that or not.

I started a parts wanted thread for broken s5 tails but haven't had much luck so I thought i would seek suggestions from you guys.

Thanks,
Matt

Yeah that's what I'm thinking about doing. I was just trying to see if anyone had any better options. I'm not.even sure if its possible to take off a lense off of a different tail because of how they are held on.

I have both s4 and s5 tails. The s4 ones are currently on the car. Are you sure on using the.s4 center with s5 tails? When I looked at them they didnt seem compatible. I may be wrong though. I didnt compare them very well.

turns out I have s5 vert tails. haha

thats why i thought you were wrong about the s5 and s4 license plate area being the same. On s5 coupes they are, but s5 vert tails are entirely different. But you were right Rob xx7. If I had s5 coupe tails it would have worked. lol

alas I am now in search of s5 coupe tails instead on the vert ones I currently have.

Nope. They're part of the rear lights assembly.

hmm, i already wanted us tail lights but when i saw extra bulbs on the back i asked a seller on ebay if these were fog lights and he said yes.

Now when i took a closer look i can hardly see it are licence plate lamps.

... now i need to get those things for sure lol!
