S5 T2 j-spec into S4 T2 Need Help!

Alright, I'll try not to get too lengthy on this.... I've got an S4 T2 that is without a motor, and after waiting 1.5 years for a motor from Rotaryshack which never came,(Robert robbed me of over $3000!) I ordered a j-spec from corksport. The only ones they could get their hands on were S5's. I was told all that had to be done was swapping the front covers, otherwise the wiring would all hook up... Ok, now i dont have a problem swapping the covers, but I'm coming to find that half the wiring doesn't match up! I no longer have all the S4 uppers, because the dumbass that had the car before me started stripping his own motor... I need to figure out how to integrate the wiring, and would prefer to eliminate all the smog gear(no emission testing!). Can anyone talk me through this or give some advice? the sooner the better! this project is long overdue for completion. Thanks!

I have All S4 harnesses ECU and sensors on body, motor is all S5 sensors, TB , injectors, etc...

I do have an S4 TB , LIM, UIM, vaccum rack and injectors (the only parts i ever recieved from rotaryshack). I really want to remove the vac rack along with the rest of emissions, i need a walkthrough of what to remove though along with what blockoff plates i need and where to get them.

I figure i could use the s4 TB to make the TPS wires mate, but im seeing other things, like the alternator plug, the S4 had 2 sensors on the oil pan, S5 has one then another sensor up on the rotor housing(knock sensor?) the alternator plug is 2 pin on the harness, 3pin on the alternator... and this is what ive seen without even lifting the UIM off!

Thanks nopistons, i might take you up on that if i cant get this figured out through the forums...

no, i'm trying to deal with it through the consumer complaint department, but they aren't getting very far....things get complicated when its outta state.... pretty much I'd have to take a lawsuit out to california and hire a lawyer out there... lawyers cost lotsa money....

Forget the two senors on the pan. Just install the one sensor and leave the other wire alone/tied back. It does NOTHING.

The alternator should have but two wires on the plug. You SURE you have three? Real sure?

Injector plugs should be the same.

Knock sensor puzzles me. A car will run fine without it but it should be connected up. Does theh knock sensor have a single connector on it? One wire? Yes. You should be able to overcome that fairly easy. I do realize that the sensor is located different than on a series five and is where you suggest.

The series five has some sort of boost control solenoid. You can cap that line off and it will still boost . I'd use the series five throttle body myself.
