s5 T2 front cover on NA s5

Car is a 1990 GXL, stock engine.

I just picked up a new s5 NA engine for my car and failed to notice it had a T2 front cover until I got home. Is this going to be a problem installing it into an NA chasis? Can I just put a block off plate on the turbo oil line? Or at least a cap, or hose with a clamped bolt? There shouldn't be any other differences right?

If you bought the engine with the front cover in place, haven't the necessary block offs already been installed?
And yes, it'll install in the chassis either way.

only difference is the oil drain, so either cap it off, or go turbo!

That's what I though. Just unsure if there's any differences at all. Better safe than sorry.

Turns out the split air pipe block off plate I had lying around fits the oil line. All set.
